Search It

I know this is a known error, I just can't find the solution. Copy a snippet of the code and search the forums here. You should find the solution.

Try the main Mozilla pages

There are known issues with this happening in several apps, it isn't confined to the Portable versions.
I had a problem with Chrome. It also seems that there are several extensions that can cause the problem, it depends on what the code says, which one it is.

Problem is identified as a problematic addon

The only place in Mozilla Thunderbird support that seems to show this problem is here (the last issue):
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Thunderbird_2.0_installation_issues
I have the same problem...I will look what it takes to remove this problem and i reply with feedback if i find any solution to this!

Removing the offline.manifest file from ThunderbirdPortable/App/thunderbird/chrome/ will make the gray box and red text issue disappear.

I found the answer in a

I found the answer in a related thread. I had the same problem and what solved it for me is what was suggested. Remove this file from Chrome:

"ThunderbirdPortable\App\thunderbird\chrome\offline.manifest"

I did and it worked Smile
