HI,
I have my primary TB on my desktop and I need to use it as a reference on my laptop for emails in and out etc.
Can I have a regular TB on my lap as well as the portable?
Will they effect each other?
Which would be the best to use with the Desktop email I have currently as it is extremely big with folders etc.
Thanks
I use XP.

It would probably be ok if you ran one at a time. And if you axidentally run the portable one while the regular one is, there is a file in the portable one that will realize the regular app is running.

I run three portables and one standard on my box. All works well.
But as in the last message... one at a time, please.
I have three different portable T-birds running on my PC (and don't ask me why, it's a tad complicated:)), often all three at the same time and have never experienced any problems (knock on wood!!) - which just goes to show what an excellent piece of software the portable T-bird really is!! The three T-birds have been in and out from my PC to USB-stick or portable drives and (knock on wood again) never any prblems. Just remember to set AllowMultipleInstances=true in ThunderbirdPortable.ini.
