i have a free personal certificate from thawte and when i send a signed message i got the following error
"error establishing an encrypted connection to smtp.mail.yahoo.com.br. error code: -12195"
any clue to solve this issue?

I've been struggling with the same problem in FF when connecting to a client authetication required site.
I have the correct certificate, but the server or the FF browser doesn't like my certificate and I get that same error code.
After a few more searches on google I found this page:
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/pki/nss/ref/ssl/sslerr.html
It has a lot of SSL error codes, explaining that error code -12195 means that the "Peer does not recognize and trust the CA that issued your certificate."
