Right now I am testing Linux just for fun. I found out, that my Distribution comes with a PIM called Kontact. I have taken a look at this app and found out, that this could really be a good (portable) alternative to Outlook.
I read, that this application is in beta-testing, since more than one year (!) but have not found out, if they are still planning to release one for windows.
Now my questions:
1. Does anyone know about the status,
2. will that be a good app for portableapps?

Thank you
Well, if they release it for Windows, then it's a possibility. I haven't used it myself (on Linux) in about a year. Best to post when and if there's a Windows version because we can't do anything until there is.
Oh, and welcome to PortableApps.com
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Thank you, very friendly Forum
Hi
There is a Windows version now

Their devs say it's still experimental but if more people were able to use it then their QA might have more confidence confirming just how good it is. Apparently it's really rather solid (but obviously still back-up as with anything else)
