Does anyone know of such a app that will allow me to change the screen saver (and settings) on a windows XP system. Reason is all control panel apps, right click menu and regedit have been disabled for the current user.
I can log in as an admin and change it from there but i have about 45 to change and they are very slow systems, a small exe that would run from a stick would save me a great deal of time and effort.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
After all, he made a standalone wallpaper changer :).

Hehe, thanks for the vote of confidence
You have admin credentials, right? So we could do a Run As... type of thing here, correct?
Now are your settings done via a group policy setting, or are they the normal settings, and you've just disabled the user's ability to change them?
Let me know, and let me know what changes you want to make, and I'll see what I can come up with. If you can give me a registry location, or even better the actual registry settings you want to change, that would be loads easier.
Actually, if you're not using a group policy setting, and you've only disabled regedit, then we can make reg changes directly without using Run As..., cause the setting are in the HKCU branch.
