Does anyone knows how to modify the default name of an application ?
What i want to do is to change "Mozilla Thunderbird, Portable Edition" into something shorter.
I tried to modify the "Name" value located into the [Details] section of \\PortableApps\ThunderbirdPortable\App\AppInfo\appinfo.ini but without any result...
Can this be done ?

You can't yet. But with the 1.5 Alpha release coming next week you'll be able to. It not only uses the appinfo.ini but it also lets you rename within the menu itself.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
i believe the menu currently only uses the embedded "Product Name" that you can find in the .exe's properties. and i am really glad the that the 1.5 release fixes this. Thanks John!
