Password Gorilla

Hello,

hopefully this isn't an impossible request.

Program: Password Gorilla

License: Open Source/Free

Description: Cross platform, encrypted, password manager

Website: http://fpx.de/fp/Software/Gorilla/

This program is extremely small and is already set up as a portable app. I'm just requesting Portableapps.com integration.

Thanks,

David the Zombie

Have you looked at KeePass

Have you looked at KeePass Portable which is already on this site? It seems to do the same thing, and is already an official package.

cross platform?

I originally went with Password Gorilla because I have to flip flop between Linux and windows... a lot. I know portableapps isn't cross platform but if it is possible I would love for password gorilla to be in my portableapps menu when I am on a windows machine.

KeePass is windows only.

KeePass is windows only. Maybe a dev with a bit more free time than myself can look into PG as an alternative. Or, if you are interested, you can try to make it yourself.

Keepass

is windows only but there is a linux version called KeePassX here. I use it almost daily and it works like a charm.

David,

David,
You should be able to use Gorilla or any other natively portable app with PAM simply by placing it in a subdirectory under the Portableapps directory. PAM adds any menu items for executables found in a subdirectory directly under the searched PortableApps one.

This is why Gorilla will be a lower priority than other apps - it already should work!
