From what I've seen, I can estimate that about 70-80% of all of the users at PortableApps.com use Firefox as their main browser. (NOTE: I said estimate)
So, I was wondering, how many of you use the Firefox 3 Release Candidate as your main browser? If you do, when did you start using Firefox 3? At beta 5? beta 4? 3?
If you do use Firefox 3, what features do you like/hate the most?
Here's mine:
I started using Firefox 3 when beta 4 came out. I'm not sure I have a favorite feature, but my favorites would definitely be the improved speed, no memory leaks, the auto-complete in the location bar, the OS native themes, and the improved security.

started on beta 4. personally, i like the start up time, and hate the enlarged back button. (you can change it to normal if you set the toolbar icons to small.)

I tried beta 4, but addon compatibility was very poor. I'm not going to use FF3 within next few months.

On Windows, I tried at beta 4 or 5, but as said the addon compatibility was poor for a couple of my needed extensions.
When Windows crashed, I switched to Fedora and have been happily using since beta 5 and up since.
I started testing Firefox 3 on alpha 8, using nightly versions on a separate install, 15 minutes a day, keeping Firefox 2 as main browser. When Ubuntu 8.04 came out, I decided to install 3 beta 5 definitively on my Windows install (couldn't use any Linux because of hardware). Luckily Ubuntu had finally support for my hardware and I now use Firefox 3 beta 5 (because they don't update it for more recent versions) and have Firefox 3.1 alpha 1 pre (nightly version) on a folder to try out every now and then.

Now Ubuntu has Updated Firefox to 3rc1 (nope, not rc2).
After 10 min modding addons made for 3b5 to work on 3.0.* I have everything working again.
Blue is everything.
I started waaay back in FF3 beta one. Then I decided it was too slow and went back to FF2. Then I tried it again at beta 3 and 4 decided it wasn't what I was looking for as I had been using Thunderbird as well and I wanted a integrated solution (and it was still too slow). So now I use SeaMonkey 2.0a1pre and John's SeaMonkey Launcher.
EDIT: I now use FF3 & TB 2.0.0.14

I'm using FF3 RC2 as my main local and portable browser. I started at Beta1, but quickly ditched it due to site incompatibility. I picked up again at Beta5 shortly before it went RC, and been happy ever since.
For those with extension issues, open "about:config" and create two new Boolean values and set them to False -
Most extensions work just fine in FF3, but have not had their "max version" updated yet.
You have to be careful with that, though. There are (literally) 20 addons that won't work with Firefox 3. They just won't. So, make sure that you don't use any of those addons. A lot of them are made by Google.

I can't find where I found that. If I do come across the list, I will let you know. Ironically, most of them were Google addons.

I wish there were only 20 that didn't work. There are far too many extensions that are quite useful, but have been abandoned. This makes for a very painful upgrade process to the next version of Gecko.

What I mean is, there are only 20 extensions that need recoding to work with Firefox 3. All the others will only need their version numbers changed in the metadata.

I was talking about extensions that need to be rewritten. There are countless abandoned projects out there that were written for 1.5 or 2.0. Some are fine in 3.0, many are not.

I only use final releases as the main browser, but I built 3.0rc2 separately to help me get things working before the final release is out. It's a hard transition because so many addons fail (and not always gracefully) with 3.0. This is a much, much harder process than with 2.0 from 1.5.
I'm really looking forward to the dramatic performance increase from all those leaks being fixed. That was one the few things that bothered me with Fx.

Leaks shouldn't affect performance unless you run out of memory..and even in this case just slightly because they should be swapped out.

When Adblock Plus and NoScript are ready for primetime with FF 3.0, I'll make the switch (do a permanent install). The other addons aren't as important so I can do without them until they get updated (Fasterfox & DownThemAll!).

Some of these you'll have to visit the websites and get the dev versions for FF3 compatibility (Tab Mix Plus, FireFTP).
But I have FF3 RC2 running beside it. I use both, but mainly FF2 until my extensions catch up to FF3.
