Start TB with parameters?

Hi,

Another question by me:

Can i start Thunderbird Portable with command-line parameters? I want to create a shortcut, which open Thunderbird directly in Calender-View (Lightning extension).
According to the FAQ it should be something like:
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe" -calendar

I tried that with the ThunderbirdPortable.exe, but I didn't succeed.

Any ideas?

Thx, atreiju.

The Launcher

i.e. ThunderbirdPortable.exe should pass all commandline parameters you give him on to Thunderbird.
What was the exact command you tried?

mh, ok.
My command was:
"D:\Eigene Dateien\PortableApps\ThunderbirdPortable2\ThunderbirdPortable.exe" -calendar

Perhaps the -calendar command is out off date? Does anyone use Lightning and can try that command for me, pls?

I'm using 2.0.0.14 with Lighting 0.9pre (I guess that could be the problem, too...)

I can't do that: if I try, a error message appears and tell me something like "broken shortcut". It would be nice, if you can try it with your ThunderbirdPortable and Lightning later!
