I want to run a website from a cd with firefox portable as the browser...thus I don't want user's native browser to pop up. I want fireox to open to the index.html on that cd. How can I set Firefox to do so? I am trying to set the default web page that will be on the cd but don't know how to do so.
Help, please.
Thanks in advance.
BTW...what will portable Firefos do about setting up a cache for itself if it is run from a cd?
check the Support page?
There is a part there that explains how to configure Firefox for a cd. And the ini-file-entry called "LocalHomepage=" is where you set your homepage.
I have never tried it myself but thats how it should work
About the Cache: I think its in the PC's Ram.
