I have my own webserver running at home and I travel alot for my work. The company has secured the laptop I carry so much it is hard to get to your own server (as soon as I use portnumbers the VPN-firwall starts to protest.)
I sneak my way around this by carrying linux livecd's around (suse and kubuntu), but as many other users might confirm you do switch back and forth between linux and windows to get your work done.
Anyhow I found this java program Unitty which is a bit like winscp but not as good. Filezilla is ok for ftp but when you need to start putting in commandlines root access, no connection time outs etcetera, then winscp is a good solution.
But as you might know it is not portable so....I would be greatfull if this was available.
Or maybe somebody has a tip of a similar performing portable solution
Download the Standalone application, just a plain exe to boot it up on a flash drive.
Thanks Beano, I had overlooked that one.
This will help me a lot
