I noticed that in the german version of "What is a Portable App" (shoulb be here: https://portableapps.com/de/about/what_is_a_portable_app) doesn't exist. I'd like to do the translation, what should I take care of? Who should I contact?

Ich sehe diese Edit-Buttons nur auf Seiten von mir selbst gestarteter Forum-Beiträge. Sonst nirgendwo. Ist die ganze Website hier als Wiki konzipiert? Falls ja, würde sich meine Frage zwar erübrigen, aber ich hätte echt was verpasst...
Tja, ich bin eingeloggt, Ablock ist ab- und JavaScript angeschaltet, aber keine Edit-Buttons in Sicht.

We haven't wiki-ized any of the site pages yet for translations. There have been some issues with using portableapps.com/de as a prefix for our content management system's language switcher. So, we may be switching to de.portableapps.com (doesn't exist yet) to do it. We'll know more in a week.
And for wiki-style editing by all registered users, we'll be adding pages in. We're starting with mods and developers with the ability to edit in a group first.

Could be that John gave him more rights than other users.
If there is no other way at the moment, so Cathryne could send the translation to me.

The Drupal permissions for "authenticated users" must include "edit own nodes" (nodes/posts/something). This means that if you set him as the author, he is able to edit it. If you set the author to Cathryne, Cathryne could edit it.

I am actually interested into translating the PortableApps website to French. Is there a possibility ?
... to have PortableApps.com in french too will be a big goal.
But until we have not the new language module online it is no good idea to start, cause in this case we have to move the French pages (like the German ones too) manualy.
But I need help with the french strings of the PortableApps.com Updater ;-). If You are interested in, please send me a ping!
