Hi,
I guess AVG (Free Edition) did it's update thing overnight, and today when I plugged in my flash drive up popped a warning saying "Virus Detected! While opening the file: J:\Apps\Topark\Torpark.exe - Trojan horse Downloader.Zlob.ANW" ...
Has anyone else received this, and can people please confirm that there is no spyware/trojan embedded in this app?
I had noticed that on running Torpark that from time to time AVG was scanning outbound mail(!!) so figured that Torpark was using POP3 port to contact somewhere on the sly...
Anyway, help and suggestions would be appreciated, and if this is just a "false positive" perhaps the developers of Torpark could contact Grisoft (the makers of AVG).
(I will forward this to the developer(s) of Torpark directly also).
Cheers,
Graeme

Just a guess, but was the file UPXed?

Ahh, thanks for that Lurk...
I suspected it would be a false positive, however I've not checked if it is UPXed. Chances are that it is compressed in some way. I neglected to mention (partially because I forgot ) that I have a anti-trojan installed as well as the AVG, and that's not complaining about it, which means it is most likely AVG getting things wrong.
