Math or Maths

Okay we had a small debate in #portableapps so now I'm curious. Do you say Maths or Math when referring to an Arithmetic class. If you say something different feel free to state that too. Also say where you're from if you don't mind please.

I say Math and I'm from Oregon, United States of America (West Coast) how about you?

Math class or Maths

When I speak in English I say math class or maths, just to give a little notion of the thing itself or its class (actually I use more maths).

I'm from Portugal.

Me too (for both)

Some of my math professors since i started college said "maths" though. I had a man from Columbia, a man from Greece, a man from Ukraine, a man from Romania, and a man from China. The prof from Columbia said math.

Math

and I, too, studied in the US (Texas). It seems that while the rest of the world says Maths, the US says Math (But then again, the US has always liked to do things differently, i.e., measuring units).

Well where i'm from...

In Kentucky (roughly the middle of the state, not giving the city) we say math.

As a side note, I've met some exchange students that say maths. I guess it depends on where you are in this world.
