bug: FF3 in terminal server (remost desktop)

we have Firefox Portable 3 in all windows 2003 server we have allow users to use it when they remote desktop in. we found a bug, when one person (session) starts the firefox, another person (session) in the same machine won't be able to start it up.

error message:
Firefox is already running, but is nto responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing firefox process, or restart your system.

thanks!

Not Supported

Like many apps, use of Firefox Portable across multiple users on the same machine is not supported.

Firefox Portable is designed to have a single instance running by a single user.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

install regular FF3 will work?

thanks.

I think it is because it is accessing the same profile so it doens't allow to start up even different users in the same machine? do you think install the regular firefox 3 will work?

Another thing I found, it is almost the same question I guess which I tested in XP pro and Vista machine. Not only in the terminal server. If I login as "user1" and then because some apps or software installation requires logon as "administartor" account then I logon as "administrator" ("start"->"switch as different user") then I cannot use FF3P either. (ie, Vista has UCA now so a lot of time even I can in the administators group but I still need to logon as "administator" to do something.)

thanks!
