Based on my idea, coded by wraithdu (thank you so much) and changed by me (a little bit)
Here are my first App, don´t forget: For TrueCryptPortable you need Admin rights
Application: True Crypt
Category: Utilities
Description: TrueCrypt is a software system for establishing and maintaining an on-the-fly-encrypted volume (data storage device). On-the-fly encryption means that data are automatically encrypted or decrypted right before they are loaded or saved, without any user intervention. No data stored on an encrypted volume can be read (decrypted) without using the correct password/keyfile(s) or correct encryption keys. Entire file system is encrypted (e.g., file names, folder names, contents of every file, free space, meta data, etc).
TCP Launcher Features/ Settings:

ToDo:
-load separated keyfile
-start 2 TC container
-icon change for TC Launcher
Here a Little preview:

For creating a TrueCrypt Container and setting the TCP Launcher read the Readme.txt on the Help.html
TrueCrypt Portable 6.0.1.0 Test 2 [2.0MB download / 5.0MB installed]
NOTE:
this update delete the "tcini.ini" and with this file your container path and Driveletter settings for your container.
Release Notes:
Test 2 (17JUL08):
-change the TrueCrypt Portable folder structure
-make Autostart of mounted TC container available
-alert (Windows beep) when dismount of the container is done
-PortableAppsInstaller update to 0.9.9.5
-Installer and App support English and German (optional)
Test 1 (01JUL08): Initial release
Hmm this is a bit weird I guess. It starts with asking password on Mount without selecting container? Ah I found the settings button now
Hmm I used Truecrypt that used NSIS to detect next available drive letter and allowed auto starting something from the encrypted container after mounting..
Do you plan on more functionality in the future?
upps my fault. i have forget to leave the container blank. now u get a warning.
my base idea was, a TC launcher with a quick TC Container start (start mount password) not the long way (start, choose container, choose drive letter, mount, password).
Hell was full, so I came back!!!
Sorry for my lousy English!!!
Thanks for the info.
Also, do you consider ever changing to AutoHotKey which claims to be an Open Source tool similar to AutoIt? (Don't know if that really matters though)
language.de doesn´t work even after editing the config file? I´ll do a more intensive testing next days...

Thanks was looking for this app for a long time. Currently have been using bat file to mount/dismount
some feature request.
1. option to set keyfile automatically in settings.
2. Settings to allow more than 1 container to be auto loaded with different drive letter. I currently have 2 containers on usb disk or option needed to select which container to mount.
3. Move TCP folder outside TrueCrypt folder which can be upgraded with new release of TC from developers.
4. option to select/set diff icon displayed in systray
errors noted : After clicking dismount no alert is provided of status or button should get deactivated. clicking it twice gives "container not mounted" message
Here's my thoughts on this.
1) Try to see if you can bypass the admin account requirement. -- I know this is a known issue with TrueCrypt, but if I can't access my encrypted files on computers that use limited accounts (which I know some public places use)... It's not really worth having on my thumbdrive.
2) Language work is needed with TrueCrypt Password prompt. -- It was in German when everything else on my computer (& my thumbdrive) is in English. The program was still functional, but a little ackward.
Besides these issues, it works fairly well.

You can always use TCExplorer to open a encrypted file on a computer without admin rights:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/tcexplorer
seems that it can´t support tc5.x
Edit: did a little research.Seems, that TCExplorer isn´t updated till now (last comments on it by the authors in March `08- big crash etc), perhaps someone could develop and intregrate it into Neorame´s GUI.That would help on nonadmin accounts and make TC really portable?

Hi,
Great work could you update it to 6.x release ?
Or simply replace TrueCrypt directory could be a solution ?
Thanks in advance.
i work on it with a few changes:
-now it works the autostart of mounted TC container
-you hear a alert when dismount of the container is done
ToDo:
-set TCP folder outside the TC folder
-load separated keyfile
-start 2 TC container
-icon change for TC Launcher

Sorry for my lousy English!!!
works very well for me on winxp.
only autostart, it's not running for me.
thank you

Hi,
Currently if you need to mount another container we need to manually browse to PortableApps\TrueCryptPortable\App\TrueCrypt and execute TrueCrypt.exe. How about providing a option in systray to launch TrueCrypt this can be listed above 'Exit' option.
awaiting next test release to test additional features.
Thanks for sharing this page with me Neorame. As you saw from my page about PortableApps, I have been using a TrueCrypt traveller disk to hold my Portable Apps. I have that automounting the container, but that container will not autostart portable apps.
Is this be done in such a way that the other portable apps start from within the container, so that mail, cookies and passwords are jailed inside it?
Also- can dismounting the container be made part of the truecrypt eject process? At the moment, I must exit all the portable apps and the launcher, then dismount the TC container, exit TC, then dismount the drive to remove it - all of which is not very convenient?
Maybe these are a future steps, but it would be good to know what it can do.
One problem I found with the traveller disk, which you should be aware of, and will affect TrueCrypt portable is that if a different version of truecrypt is already installed on the target machine, then it will have already loaded the TC driver and may be unable to mount the container for another version.
Hello NeoRame,
excellent work, do you plan to update to the new versio 6.1a ?
Why is it different from the one I got from http://www.truecrypt.org/downloads.php ? I mean this one seems like a light version or something or is it just me?
Because this is the portable version, it is modified so it works better portably, the actual truecrypt binaries are the same (though maybe not the very newest version in this package?) but this version has a shiny new launcher.
I see. Is there like a help file for the portable version?
There's a help.html file included when you install the portable version, look in the folder where you installed it. It also links to the readme.txt
What do you mean by light? TrueCrypt allows you to put a portable version on your flash drive, which I show to take up more than one megabyte less (Yours:4.81MB, TrueCrypt Official: 3.14MB). No offense, but why is yours necessary?
Hey I would like to let you know that naming it TrueCrypt Portable Is a breach of the licence.

That's something that hadn't occurred to me. Guys, you're going to need to rename it to something else.
It would be as well if you read all of the TrueCrypt License Version 2.8 to find any other clauses which need consideration.
Also, here's another thing in it:

I believe those stipulations only kick in when you modify TruCrypt itself as in it's source code. Since these guys are creating a wrapper for TrueCrypt and never modifying it's code, why would they have to comply with those directives in the license?
Someone could email the TrueCrypt team and get a ruling on this one way or the other.
Disclaimer: I'm not a lawyer...thank god...so I could be interpreting the license wrong.

Please make the drive letter change automaticly. I have to go into settings on every computer to update the secure file path.
EDIT: I have edited the source code to fix it. Please contact me @ ari.aaron at gmail for the code.
Yes, this should update automaticly - please change it.
Thank you.
