Hello, I appreciate the feedback from my previous discusion. anyways we have our site up just they way we like.
Our first plans were to get our website online by July 1st, July 3rd we have decided on a name brand name, domain name.
We're still deciding on a web host, one of my friends suggested hostgator.com, and I've heard good reviews of dreamhost.com, we're undecided, any host that is well known and offers e-commerce features we will look at, but most important is the user reviews. And any coupons would be really helpful. Currently we are swaying towards host gator as my friend has been using it for a few years. an dream host is still being thrown around as a possible host too.
So it comes down to this. We are using Drupal 5 + Ubercart, we have everything already setup in Drupal, products, content, ect. hopefully that will deduct the setup fee.
We would like to know which host would let us upload our current content/setup and which host is higher quality + cheap in the long run.
Thanks

I thought Drupal had E-Commerce abilities ;).
Anydo, I found this.
Perhaps you could spend about 500 dollars for a high quality desktop and put Apache on it. That way you had your hosting in your own hands- as well as the Internet fees :(.
Insert original signature here with Greasemonkey Script.
Thought about it, but it seems like too much of a hassle, maybe we will if we rake in some dough lol.
I HIGHLY recommend HostGator. They rarely go down, and when they do they will have it back up within minutes. Their prices are also great. I actually run an e-commerce store with them (click my homepage).
We went with HostGator.
Nice website by the way!
Glad you like it. It's Zen-Cart....I highly recommend that as well. Easy to use and easy to customize.
EDIT: BTW Zen-Cart is free
