I think it's time to create a section "portableapps for admins". Many times we have admin rights on target computer anyway.
There is many nice software which needs because of their task admin rights to work.
Currently every individual needs to convert his needed applications (requiring admin rights) into portables itself or to go to the competitors (portablefreeware.com).
What "portableapps for admins" would be useful?
- well, very similar advantages to standard portable apps
- easy and fast install, just copy
- you can spread your software from computer to computer very easy
- settings are found more easy
- very easy to make backups
- no files floating around on harddisk
- no junk in windows registry
- nice for sysadmins (imagine a 2.5" USB hdd with typical support applications)

Command Prompt Portable, Toucan portable, ClamWin portable, and Eraser would all be useful. Does anyone know about the portability of the Sysinternals apps ?

Only launchers for some of them are in beta test, not the apps themselves. Sorry for being to imprecise ...
I am responsible for those. If you want others, post a request there. They should also work on limited accounts.
