Info about portable Firefox & Weave

Hi!

I use Firefox Portable and Mozilla Weave to sync the data with my home Firefox.
So, all work ok but in portable Fox I see that Weave don't sync on close, I don't see pop up windows...
I think the problem is Firefox portable but I don't know where.

Any idea?

Thank you
Ciao!

im using weave

on both my local install and my portable install and i havent seen your problem maybe its to do with are you sure your using the latest version of weave?
click here for the latest version
if you have try posting at the weave forum here
because i dont see how this could be portable apps causing the problem i have a basic understanding of how both work and they should be perfectly compatible
is any one else having this problem or am i the only one not having it

Weave Problems

I'm having all sorts of problems with Weave, but it's not limited to just my PFF3, though it has it's own share of unique issues. For some reason PFF3 will only recognize it (and all my other add ons) for a day, then on the next day I will need to re-install pFF3 and all addons for it to work.

profile

sounds like a problem with your PFF profile
as a test in the addons menu disable weave and see if that works
if the problem persists then create a new profile
in poratble Firefox you do this by backing up the current profile eg. the entire data directory which should be at X:\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\Data then delete this folder and start a new if you don't want to have to hunt down all your extension use FEBE to repackage them all as .xpi's and install them all one at a time until you find the one causing the problem
good luck

also as i have said in previous posts about weave is a prototype why are people expecting so much of it if this was being produce by a big company like Google or micr$oft it wouldn't even be know about by people outside of there test labs and have you noticed the version number 0.2.5
