The last update to this project was July 2005, perhaps it is abandoned?
I use VirtuaWin with Iconized (an addin) also found on SourceForge. It is a little more current, having been updated this year. There is also a natively portable version at the same site..

There is a Portable Apps compatible version (one release back at 3.2 instead of 4.01) at:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=210014
I have not tried this version; just found it while researching for the VirtuaWin link.
Hi,
I know already VirtuaWin and I think that Virtual Dimension has more features (transparent windows, switch wallpaper) and a better look & feel.
Thanx anyway.
Kr.
Virtual Dimension does something with applications' title bar context menus which requires mingwm10.dll to be in each application's PATH environment variable - something which you're not always going to be able to do. Otherwise it chucks errors.

Everything is ok with my Virtual Dimenstion Portable, Except there is an issue will a certain .dll file that put this project on a halt for me. Until i can figure out some way to redirect the .dll, it wont work on some computers, and you'll just keep getting error messages![Sad](https://portableapps.com/sites/all/modules/smiley/packs/kolobok/sad.gif)
Na na na, come on!
Virtual dimension is an app i use all the time (of course its the installable version), but would love to be able to take it with me. I am using VirtuaWin, and that gets me through, but Virtual Dimension is so much better (even if it hasn't been updated in a long time).
