Missing menu functionality

Gotta say that I love the Portable Apps Suite! But for some reason, some basic functionalities are missing on my installation (USB thumb drive, XP Home):

Cannot move the menu location (mouse functions only on the menu items)

Cannot resize the menu (adding new apps runs off the normal display area. Cannot stretch.)

Cannot find or activate an 'Eject' button (have to close the menu prgm from Windows Task Manager in order for the drive to be "safe to remove")

Cannot rename the drive as explained in FAQ (mouse does not activate that)

Cannot see any way to apply a personal picture to the Menu as described in FAQ.

No 'Languages' option (perhaps I turned that off during installation?)

All of the above seem to be "mouse activation" issues. There is no right-click context menu and nothing other than the menu items themselves are "hot".

What have I messed up?

Latest Version?

Are you sure you're running the 1.1 release of the PortableApps.com Platform? Clicking Help - About will tell you. You should be able to move the menu by clicking and holding on the logo, eject with the eject button, rename by clicking the name, etc. Languages are always included.

You can grab the current version here:

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

New Version?

I don't have a Help|About for the platform either. But I do still have the installer which I now realize is 1.0. I've got several apps installed on it now. I've also upgraded FF from 2.0.0.15 to 2.0.0.16 (avoiding v3 in hopes that I can use this on a W98SE machine). Do I just install the v1.1 'Platform' (1MB) over the 1.0 platform and will it leave all the apps alone? Or do I need to start from scratch with the full suite? (Prefer to avoid FF3 for now.)

Thanks.

Just the platform

Just install the Platform v.1.1. It will leave your apps alone.
But maybe you should check if your apps versions are as outdated as your old platform?

How SUITE it is!

Thank you!! Installing the v1.1 platform fixed everything! What a tonne of improved features in a 0.1 upgrade!

As for the apps, I had already upgraded FF, OO and ClamWin but I missed the fact that I was using an old version of the PA platform.

Much appreciated!
