Hi there,
I use GVim Portable from http://portablegvim.sourceforge.net/
I enjoy using it with specific fonts that are not windows default, but as far as I know, GVim refers to the system's font folder when you want to choose a font. So I was wondering how can it be made possible to carry your own font inside the usb drive and use it with GVim?
Thanks, ronh
There doesn't seem to be any documentation on this anywhere. Based on the font selection it gives me, I don't think it's reading from the system fonts, but I looked through the configuration files and it isn't immediately apparent where the portable fonts would be stored.
Try installing a new font into windows font folder and notice how you can now choose it from GVim.
In the very least, GVim does list some of the fonts in the system's font folder.
