How to disable Firefox Portableapps splash screen?

How does one disable the annoying Firefox 3 Portableapps splash screen?

We all want to be closer to God, but this is hardly the way to draw His attention - or anyone else's for that matter Smile

A Web search produced only suggestions on how to do it in previous versions, and they don't seem to work.

Anyone?

go to

..\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\Other\Source\FirefoxPortable.ini, edit the ini with notepad or else (disable splashscreen=true) and put it next to FireFoxportable.exe
More information is provided in the readme file in the same folder as the .ini template

It does

if you do it right.
What exactly were you doing?

Same here

Hi,
I've set the variable to true but it don't hide the splash screen.
Here is the file "FirefoxPortable.ini":

[FirefoxPortable]
FirefoxDirectory=App\firefox
ProfileDirectory=Data\profile
SettingsDirectory=Data\settings
PluginsDirectory=Data\plugins
FirefoxExecutable=firefox.exe
AdditionalParameters=
LocalHomepage=
DisableSplashScreen=true
AllowMultipleInstances=false
DisableIntelligentStart=false
SkipCompregFix=false
RunLocally=false

Has anyone got a clue?

Did you

copy the Firefoxortable.ini into the main folder (the one called FirefoxPortable with the FirefroxPortable.exe in it)?

If you didnt, do it and it will work.
