Any chance of someone being able to make a portable version of SureThing Cd Labeler? I would like to be able to print labels when I am at work but we are not allowed to install software on work computers. There is a free version of SureThing 4-SE on www.lightscribe.com but I have not been able to get it to install and run as a portable application. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
Heh, that's what I use for lightscribe..
I'm pretty sure this would be hard to do, as it has to do some driver level stuff for lightscribe, and that may be called on startup, even if you're doing paper labels. It also, from a quick check just now, has a lot of reg entries.

That's what I was afraid of. Thanks for taking the time to look it.
After looking at the SureThing 4-SE - It only has the label templates for SureThing Labels and for LightScribe only. The previous reply was right - the LightScribe probably won't work due to the driver it has to use to utilize LightScribe. The regular version of SureThing 4 is what I need to be portable as it has the templates for most all brands of labels. I have looked at it and it puts a .dll file in:
program files\common files\SureThing Shared\ -- but I don't know what else it spreads around on the hard drive. I am going to look deeper into it when I have the spare time. All suggestions and assistance is greatly appreciated.
