One thing I hate about MSN is that is stores all my personal files on the C: in all hidden folders.
This would be solved with a portableMSN version.

Also there is a cool little device called a search bar up near the top right of all pages on portableapps.com, please use it, becuase this has been requested many time, if you did you'd probably find aMSN and pidgin.

We cannot do any Microsoft products,they are not open source, and use many registry keys, therefore it will not happen.
There is however aMSN portable in beta testing, which does almost everything MSN does.
you can also use Pidgin portable with the MSN protocol.

aMSN sounds good. Is the an open source version of MSN written by someone else, not MS?
I installed it, but whenever I try to send someone an off-line message, aMSN crashes. But a bug window comes up and I reported it.
it's basically a MSN clone written and released under the GPL (a popular open source license)
It may not support off line messages, pidgin does, you might give that a try

aMSN is a wonderful program! I hope it will be available here at PortableApps in near future.
I am using the newest version and everything is working just fine. Crashes are really rare and aren't related to offline messages.
