  • What drive?
  • What OS?
  • How do you launch it?
  • How does it crash?
  • etc etc

The more we know about your situation the more we can be sure of our solution ;).

Move it back to the place it

Move it back to the place it was before. Does it still work?

Either way if it does install a new copy of 3.0.1 (direct link here) or 2.0.16 (direct link here. Remember to install it in the PortableApps folder!

If you have it working

  1. To get previous addons:
  2. Install "Mr. Tech Toolkit (formerly local install)" here (note: this is a direct link). Restart the browser. Go to tools at the top and then add-ons. You should see this bit blue circle with the letter "i" in it, To know if you got the right button hover over it. I should say "My config". Click on it and a window should open. The window should list all the extensions you ever installed. And if you haven't noticed... the names of the extensions are links! But links to where? Click on one. You should go to the homepage of the add-on you clicked on. Somewhere on the page should be a link to download the extension. Just click save at the bottom and click HTML. Save the file to the desktop. Open your new copy of FFP, and what you just saved to the desktop. Remember to open that file with you new FFP. You probably know what to do next. But just click on the links and install your extensions.

  3. Plugins:
  4. Getting your plugins back should be easy.
Just copy all the file from /FirefoxPortable/Data/plugins/
to [x]:/PortableApps/FirefoxPortable/Data/plugins/. Well that was easy.

  5. Settings
  6. I don't know how to do this but somebody else may come and tell you.

  7. Other
  8. Please tell me if there's anything else you would like to know.

Hope this helps! Although I do think that I did this all for nothing. Smile
