Portable Tor

OK, Tor is a toolset for a wide range of organizations and people that want to improve their safety and security on the Internet. Using Tor can help you anonymize web browsing and publishing, instant messaging, IRC, SSH, and other applications that use the TCP protocol. Tor also provides a platform on which software developers can build new applications with built-in anonymity, safety, and privacy features.

TorCP is a Tor controller for Windows 95 and higher. TorCP runs in your system's notification area, giving you a way to check on the status of Tor without having to have the console window open all the time. TorCP also lets you monitor the bandwidth Tor is using, as well as configure some of Tor's settings without having to manually edit Tor's configuration file.

More about TorCP here: http://www.freehaven.net/~edmanm/torcp/index.html

BUT! There is no mobile version. It would be great to have one.

BTW: check Anon-IM. Anon-IM is a program package which contains Tor client and internet messaging program GAIM (mobile version). MORE INFO HERE: http://matthai.owca.info/anon-im.html

TorPark

TorPark includes PFF 1.5 B1 and is portable. I'm working with the developer on a more streamlined final 1.5 release.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

I know developer of TorPark.

I know developer of TorPark. Tor is portable, but TorCP (Tor Control Panel) is not. That is the problem.

Ah

Sorry, I missed that on the first read. I'll take a peak at it after we do TorPark.

TorCP + TorPark + Anon-IM + more...?

Actually I was thinkig it would be a good idea to have TorCP configured in that way, that it will have additional menu with launchers of portable applications - Anon-IM (which is portable Gaim), TorPark (which is portable FF), etc. Maybe ability to add application launchers by yourself?

Of course TorCP ability to start Tor server should be disabled...
