IEtab install

Hi guys !
I'm new in Firefox portable. How can I install IEtab on my Firefox 3 (USB pen) ?

Huh?

Maybe I'm not understanding something, but have you tried going to:

IETab Page

and clicking on the big button?

P.S. I use IE View Lite instead.

Yes, I did ! I used drag&drop to install the little IEtab add-on into Firefox.

Glad that you've got it installed and running.

There's something perverse about installing an add-on to Firefox to be able to downgrade to Internet Exploder, but that's a story for another day, isn't it?

Activex

With IETab, when an activex control is used, would it install the control on the host machine or does it keep the control portable? I have a feeling the activex control is installed on the actual machine but I wanted to check to see if anyone has tested this.

IETab = IE

When you use IETab, you're actually using a local copy of IE just as if you fired it up by itself. So everything happens locally.
