I just use Firefox Portable on my computer and don't install the regular version. I would like the regular version on my computer, but I'm unsure as to how I can migrate all my settings, stored passwords, bookmarks, etc. from the Portable version to the Standard version. What is the easiest way to do this? I have tried CLEO and FEBE add-ons but they don't work properly with the portable version so I would prefer just copying my folders that contain the data. Can anyone help me?
On the Firefox support page, there is a section about how to copy your local profile to your portable version. Just to it the other way around.

Since i´ve read about different file extensions, i´m not sure if "Just do the other way round" will work.
because of the way bookmarks and cookies and other stiff is managed. But the original poster never said anything about migrating back.

i thought somebody might read this and explain the way i do the migration from ffp 2 to ff3. Maybee i should start a new thread about it.
start a new one. But I think you can just install the FF3 over the version 2 and it will do the migration.
