Yes of course, but only when you don't have a keyboard at all, ha. I've never used it before
It is very hard to type with that thing
It could be used for example, when one has to type something on a keyboard which is different from the one physically present.
In windows, one can switch between different keyboard layouts, but if the other layout is not physically present...
for example: standard US laptop, has only standard keys. I want write some german text, might need some of those ö, ä , ü and so could probably switch the windows to the german keyboard and the virtual will take that over and I can type my special chars.
Otherwise I have no big idea what that is for.
