Sourceforge rank

I just did a search on sf.net for "portable" and our main page came up on page 3 after things like GAIM portable and other old projects now merged into the one.
Is there anything one can do about that becaue I think it sucks.

Nope

SourceForge's search has always been pretty poor... even when you have the exact name of a project, it is often not the first result. And given that we've lost the top project lists, the homepage is now useless and there's no site status, it seems SourceForge it getting worse instead of better.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

but I almost thought so. Sf is definitively becoming worse.

I doubt 'normal' users would

I doubt 'normal' users would find it easier. Ok it looks a bit cleaner, but the fact that on homepage there is no advanced search bothers me (one has to do a rought search, then press advanced search, and enter search words again and choose options.

I wish you could sort results on number of developers as well, that way you can easily check the biggest projects.
