Hi all,
First, I am new to these boards (and this is my first post). I've used the search bar on this forum to attempt to find my answer. Unfortunately, it's either never been posed or my searchfu is broken.
I was wondering if there was any possible way to install firefox3 along side firefox2 in the suite. This would make my debugging world much easier to handle, especially as I tend to go back and forth between different computers (screen resolution, windows versions, etc).
I know that I can simply install those versions of FFP that I want, on to a usb device, but, how would I get both to appear in the suite interface?
Thanks,
Mike
if you don't want to run both at the same time:
When you install one of the two, just change the name of the folder.
The standard is ?:/PortableApps/FirefoxPortable.
For example you can install FFP3, rename the folder to "FirefoxPortable3", then you install Firefox 2 and rename the folder to "FirefoxPortable2" so you know what's where.

Great, I thought as much, and normally would have tried it, but, I spent quite a long time getting everything set up the exact way that I wanted it and didn't want to mess anything up.
I will try your suggestion.
Thanks again,
Mike
