Hello I had been using this program for a year and Love it!!
A friend of me askme about the license, reading the license.txt file says this:
"The source code for this product is available to you under the terms of the GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE v2 (included below) from PortableApps.com"....
Reading this, as far I understand, I can download it, modify it and even create, and distribute a "personal flavor" of the portable apps program (keeping the respective credits).
I try to find the PortableAppsMenu Source codes, but can't find them... so where are they?
I really don't want to develop a diferent app, I basically want to know how the app is made and look for some personal implementations, I have in mind (share some of them).
Regards
Is this what you're looking for?

Vintage!
the source is all on the SF.net project page (and because of GPL, even the source for all the original apps are there)
Insert original signature here with Greasemonkey Script.
It's right on the suite page (where you downloaded the Menu from), just where it's supposed to be
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Mmmm well yes that's logic LOL but I was confused...
I open ALL apps in the PortableApps folder and see that All of them has a AppName/Other/Source directory with sources, and the only without that directory is PortableAppsMenu.
Maybe Add it and add a readme with an URL to the proyect page, will help confused newbees like me.
Thanks
I'm pretty sure there is a readme there...
Insert original signature here with Greasemonkey Script.
I was wondering the same thing and as Mr dragnovich says, there's no info about that.
I just find this Link in the readme.txt file:
Website: http://PortableApps.com/Suite
And no links to the source codes
In the "Download Details" section, there is a line that looks like this:
Source Code: Backup/Restore (included), Menu/Start source
Just click the link and download the file!

Yes there's a readme file but has not a link to the Proyect page.
Anyway I GOOGLED the entire site PortableApps.com and find just one link to the proyect page (Not including the forums). That link is a hidden tiny reference to the proyect source code in the portableapps.com/suite directory.
and yes it says:
Source Code: Backup/Restore (included), Menu/Start source
I Think that sould be in the Development Section and in more visible position.
Bye!
It makes perfect sense to me as the link to the source is always at the same spot on the Apps page.
