I have been using XBMC media center for a while on my computer which is hooked up to my entertainment system, I currently have all of my media on an external hard drive though. It would be coold to install XBMC so that I could set everything up on this external drive.

Have they finally released a version for Windows? Last time I checked there was none and was forbidden to ask on IRC for a compiled windows binary.

I've been testing it to death, and let me just say, alpha what? There is one small issue right now, when you close out, there's an error message (although it seams to be memory related), other than that, it's running perfectly.
I have done a simple copy of it's folder into portable apps and plan to test it on another computer today, just to see what happens, it might pretty well be portable as is.
