PortableApps in the Context Menu?

I've noticed that when I'm using Portable software I'm often a little annoyed at not having the context menu buttons (the right click options). So I was thinking (yes I know scary) wouldn't it be nice if we had an app that could be configured to add in context menu items for portable software. My thought would be a setup simmilar to how 7-zip is configured (7-zip > options). The app could be configured to any app on the flash drive. I don't mean something like eXpresso that monitors by .blahs. The context menu would work on any file. That way you could say scan a file with ClaimWin without actually going through and opening the app and then opening the file with ClaimWin. Any ideas?

registry entry?

yes but this is regsitry entry providing context menu entry.
Could be done by entering the reg key when opening the portableapp menu and be deleted when closing it, but what should happen when someone pulls out the stick and does not close the suite? The entry will remain there? Ok some error msg will come up when someone tries to use that shortcut, prbably nothing big will happen, but this would be the result of it.

Well currently...

Currently if you leave something running like the menu or an app. They have a fail safe to fix whatever was left over. I'm not really sure of the logistics but I do have a stickies launcher that adds to the context menu and I haven't run into any troubles with it.

already there though classified as outdated

but it works (esp the send to for clamwin..)
http://www.noir3d.com/portableSuite/index.html
I can´t recommend all addons but the clipboard and quicklaunch addon. The others are too buggy.
Recommenation for clamwin scanning a certain file:
in Convey sendto folder : create a link to
X:\PortableApps\ClamWinPortable\App\clamwin\bin
change target to: X:\PortableApps\ClamWinPortable\App\clamwin\bin\clamscan.exe -d "..\..\..\Data\db" -r --bell
Rename the link as you like, eg CWPfilescanner

Everytime you right click on a file and send to CWPfilescanner, you´re chosen file will be scanned

Probably off-topic.

Speaking of context menus, the menu could use context menus. Like those config programs that come with some apps could be put in there. Renaming could be put in there. Categorizing could be put in there. Even the AppName.ini config could be put in there.
