Hmm

You have two hugely popular apps and then Task Coach? Sounds good to me! I hear BonkEnc and SpeedCrunch are pretty awesome as well. But really, it depends on what you're into. Thunderbird and Pidgin are both great to have for many people. As for the forums, there's guidelines stickied in General Discussion that'll give you the lowdown.

But welcome to the forums. Enjoy your stay. Should you need any refreshments or extra towels contact the front desk.

sweet.

Thanks! I only have a 2 GB drive, so I probably wont be putting my email on it, but hey, who knows what could happen...

I forgot to mention that I got the Portable apps menu thing, and that helps a ton. (I hate digging through folders to find something)

E-mail should be fine

You can set Thunderbird to leave mail messages on the server so they only take up temporary space on your drive. 2GB is way more than enough for most people anyway (I'm currently using ~500 MB of my 4 GB).

I like the menu too, it's even pretty good at picking up apps from other sites.

LOL

I guess self promoting your apps are permitted when your apps are official :P.

Insert original signature here with Greasemonkey Script.

Thunderbird and Calendar Extension

As suggested, Thunderbird, if you set it to leave the e-mails on the server, shouldn't take too much room. I like to install the Calendar extension (available here), which allows me to take my appointments with me - and it's smaller than Sunbird.
If you are into working with graphics, the GIMP is great. There's also a dev version of Inkscape (vector drawing) on the Development page, I find it useful.

The best suggestion I can make is to try any one that seems interesting!
If you don't like it, you can just delete the folder - no uninstallation scripts needed.

I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.
