While it is possible it is unlikely.
If it is true it is a false positive.
What is more likely is that CWP is scanning a file that McAfee finds suspicious.
When ever you scan your computer with an ondemand scanner, your Real Time Scanner, in this case McAfee, is scanning it as well [because it is being accessed by CWP]
More information is needed to see what is going on.
How long after CWP starts does McAfee react ?
Does CWP continue to run, if so it is unlikey that CWP itself is being targeted.
Have you tried just a memory scan?
What is McAfee saying that it is doing with the Trojans ?
What message is it giving?
The more info the better.

I found in the past McAfee thinks other Anti virus programs are viruses. it though McAfee's miniature scanner that is portable was a virus on to of Clamav. this is my experience.

I can only tell you that I was running McAfee and CWP before the OP posted and after. McAfee is having no problem with CWP itself.
I still think that McAfee is suspicious of a file which which CWP was scanning on the flash drive.
CW will often unpack a file in the the temp dir in order to scan it.
A good test would be to just have CWP do a memory scan.
If CWP launches, scans, and closes with out error that would show that McAfee in not having a problem with CWP itself.

and not only the real time scanners, but also the on demand. I made the experinece, that mcafee was finding viruses in f-prot and f-prot in mcafee.
This is normal, since the scannes also unpack all possible things and find then some patterns which clearly the other scanner has to have too.

of all reasonable antivirus software. The data base does contain the signatures of the viruses. Those are scanned by other antivirus software, it is very likely that when the signature is similar length in both av software, it will be reported as virus. There is no way around it and never was, the only cure: do not scann one antivirus software with other.
