I've wiki-fied the PortableApps.com Development Test page so now developers and moderators can update the app lists as apps are added and updated. All revisions are kept and marked with the author name and you can easily see the revisions and the diffs between revisions from the "Revisions" tab on the page.
A few rules for editing:
- Edit only on the page or using a text editor (no WYSIWYG editors)
- Only edit if you are comfortable hand coding HTML
- Click Edit and beginning editing in page (or copy/paste to your text editor). Do not navigate away from the page until you finish and save it. If someone else saves an edit while you're working, start again from their copy (if you just click Edit again and paste your changes, you lose theirs).
Any issues, let me know. Enjoy
THANK YOU! Now I don't have to feel guilty for falling behind with that page.

It'll work now.

Thankyou, sir.
May be this afternoon I'll put it to good use and add those app\revisions

I hadn't ticked the Dev box on your account yet. You're on the team page now, too.

Yay, but there is a typo: I'm "Bart.S", not "Bart S."
We use real names or an approximation thereof for developers. I can just list you as Bart or we can use your real name if you'd like.
Real names or approximations install more confidence in non-techie users than random online handles. That's why I go by John T. Haller instead of my old handle here.

an abbreviation ("Bart") of my nick "Bart.S" install more confidence? Or "Bart S." does? That doesn't make sense. And people know me as "Bart.S", all my apps have the copyright "Bart.S" inside and I'm fine with it.
And btw, I don't believe that powerjuce is a real name too
Yes, it does. Think about it. If you're a user, what looks better as the author... Tim Jackson, or Ultr@DudE? Bart.S isn't too bad looks-wise, but I don't want to continue with the anonymous development trend in names on the team page. When you're looking to do business with large corporations to pay all the bills, it helps if you have real people behind the project as opposed to anonymous folks hiding behind handles.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Maybe my real name would install more confidence, but NOT an abbreviation of my nick. And in my opinion, the majority of users never read the "about us" section of apps. Personally, I don't care who wrote an app. I don't know them if they call themself "Bill Gates", "l0s3r" or whatever else. And I respect the privacy of people.
You're doing the business, your business partners know your name and my real name doesn't matter, cause I don't conclude a contract. If you don't want an anonymous name on the team page, feel free to remove me again.
Thank you thank you thank you sir.
I'll just have to wait till BPBible Portable is out the door :P. For that though we need to wait for distribution permission for the ESV...
Also, BPBible Portable is Pre-Release 1, not 12!
And I suppose that Celestia would be in the Education category.

I was wondering how to wikify stuff in Drupal... (I have a Skhool Stuff section on my site..)
Insert original signature here with Greasemonkey Script.
When I want to add a comment to this page, there is no "save" button like on all other forum pages. Is this a bug or intention?
After clicking the "preview" button the "save" button appears.
I don't see why that would be intentional, as I haven't seen many screw-ups over there, but I guess it certainly could be to verify the code turned out correctly.
Well, another thing:
The newest comment is displayed above the older ones. Maybe you can change the order, so that people needn't read from below.
Well, I can't add comments anymore. And my old comment has been deleted without doing the changes in the app list
What about me?
Technically, I am a dev
Do you have to be an official to edit it?
AFAIK
What do you want added? Post the code for it and I'll stuff it in for you.
