Development Test 2 (2008-09-29):
- Added:If the user starts Tipp10 without the lauchner by mistake, new settings will be created in
$PROGRAMDIRECTORY\portable. On the next normal start the launcher will backup the old settings and move the new ones to the$SETTINGSDIRECTORY. - Updated the Tipp10 database template to the newest version 24.
- Created german help.html
- Improved english help.html, renamed it to help_en.html (will be dropped in final release)
- Improved appicon.ico
Development Test 1 (2008-09-22): Initial release
- I used the original Tipp10 Portable release
- I changed the folder structure according with the paf-specs
- I compressed the files with the PortableApps.com App Compactor (saved ~5MB)
- The launcher deletes all files/folders left behind by the original Tipp10 Portable release (hopefully)
- I found none registry key left behind

Sorry but I'm Australian and don't speak a word of German. couldn't find an English option so will have to pass on this. Can only tell you that it did starat up and I managed to find the options so it seems to work.

Yeah, I almost installed it too until I saw this tidbit in the main post:

the package name ends with "_de" and not with "en_us"

A new version has been released (Tipp10 2.0.3), with many nice new features (new keyboard layouts: QWERTY-USA, NEO 2.0; new lessions; ...).
But the original portable release has a few minor bugs. I'll wait until these are fixed and won't release a *paf*ed version soon.
Maybe the new version adds new languages too (at least for the GUI, because translating lessions is hard work).
Btw.: Copying the new version into the old *paf*-version won't work. If you do so, files/folders will be left behind.
