I think we can just use the built-in upgrade. Although it will add junk entry in registry. (Simply change firefox portable folder name and remove from appwiz.cpl, then change it back.)
It works in most cases, but I found some of my addons did not work properly after 3.0.1 -> 3.0.2
Recently upgraded to a 32GB USB drive, installed Firefox 3.0.2 and it's significantly slower:
1. Loading a pager is drastically slower
2. Switching from tab to tab is very slow
3. Loading Firefox is slow
4. Entering data into fields very slow (ie: after typing, nothing would appear in the field for about 5 to 8 seconds later.
5. Delay in deleting text in fields too
Wondering if anyone else has same issue or if it's my drive.
Not yet, but I'm sure that John knows about it already.

some times my firefox dosen't start up and when i try to reinstall it just freezes
3.0.3 is already out.

3.0.3 might fix it lol
Maybe it's just more stuff to load in a bigger flashdrive
