Beta Testing

I was looking for a gui for UPX on SourceForge and found UPXcmd. It had been been set up a as .paf.exe back in September, so I decided to try it out.

Turns out it wasn't really PAF compliant as we are using today, so I set about redoing it to make it so.

UPXcmd package contains a new program, UPXcmd DropBox. Dropbox allows

World Of Padman Portable:
In this funny first person shooter very small people doing battle. The levels are made op of rooms where you jump on bookshelves, stacks of books, tables, chairs etc. and collect ammo and weapons for your funny weapons, among Baloony (a water balloon shooter) and killer ducks. Very funny and cool looking levels to play.

Install:
- Unzip the Portable Launcher package into your PortableApps folder
- Download the installer from the website and install the game
- Copy the contents of Alien Arena 2008 to PortableApps\App\alienarena2008
- Remove unins000.dat, unins000.exe and WipeDirC.exe from your portable folder
- Uninstall the game using the uninstaller

Simon Tatham, the creator of PuTTY, made these cross-platform, standalone games (rules aren't his, just the code). This launcher makes it easy to chose a game to play, or if you have more time, you can chose any number of games to play. Thanks to Simeon for the multiselect code, as well as wraithdu and mecki77 for the updates.

I made my own Lazarus Portable Launcher and now I want to share it.
Lazarus is an emulation of Delphi. The program comes with an installation but it doesn't need one.

Move my little starter program into the lazarus directory.

Now instead of starting lazarus with "startlazarus.exe" use my program and move the folder whereever you like (for example usb-stick).

Just tested on Windows XP!!
