PuTTY logoPuTTY Portable version 0.59 Revision 2 has been released. PuTTY Portable is the lightweight PuTTY telnet and SSH client packaged as a portable app, so you can take securely connect to your systems on the go. This release fixes a bug where PuTTY Portable would lose saved sessions when run on a PC without PuTTY installed locally. It is available for immediate download from the PuTTY Portable homepage.

Only my first five sessions appear in the list until I highlight and save one of those five sessions, then the rest of the list appears.

I originally thought it might be something to do with the fact that the next session's name has spaces in it, but recreating it without spaces hasn't helped.

Still looking into it myself to see if I can figure it out.

EDIT: FWIW, the same session list can be loaded into the registry and "regular" PuTTY doesn't have a problem with it.

This is a news story. If you check the forums, you'll see this addressed.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

I apologise. I committed the cardinal sin and did not think to check the forums at all (I am being sincere here - there is no sarcasm involved). That should absolutely have been my first stop. My problem was solved with a quick visit there.

Happens to all of us sooner or later Smile

I'll post an updated Rev 3 package as an official release tomorrow so nobody else runs into this issue.
