Toucan 1.2.1.1 has been released. Toucan is a tool for advanced users that allows you to sync, backup and secure files on your device. This new version fixes a bug that would cause secure (and possibly backup) to hang in rare instances. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format for easy use from any portable device and integration with the PortableApps.com Suite. And it's open source and completely free.

Features
Toucan is a small utility allowing you to synchronise, backup and secure your data with more options than the built in suite utilities. Its features include:
- Four synchronization modes, copy, update, mirror and equalize.
- Four backup modes, complete, update, incremental and restore, in industry standard zip and 7-zip files
- Encryption using ccrypt and the BURP updated blowfish algorithm.
- Command line support, allows you to create a batch file for repeated jobs
New In This Release
This new release fixes a bug that would cause secure (and possibly backup) to get stuck in an infinite loop in specific circumstances.
PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format
Toucan is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Suite including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Incremental backup in case no changes
Bonjour,
Could it be possible that, in case of incremental backup, if no changes have occurred in the folder, no backup file is created ?
I think eventually a msg should inform the user, which may not be that easy in case of command line processing.
