Features

7-Zip Portable ScreenshotPDFTK Builder is a pdf manipulation utility for Windows with a great array of features including:

  • Collate - allows you to rearrange (reorder, delete, & duplicate) pages in a single document and/or merge pages from multiple PDF documents.
  • Split - allows you to separate each page of a PDF document into its own file.
  • Background or Stamp - 'Background' enables you to add a background to each page in a document or just the first page. The 'background' (eg a company logo, or a 'draft' watermark) must be another PDF document (the first page of that document if it has more than one page). 'Stamp' is very similar to 'background' except that the 'stamp' is placed on top of the source document.
  • Rotate - 'Rotate' enables you to rotate a range of pages in a document.
  • Password Protection: The new document can be password protected (encrypted) by providing 'owner' and 'user' passwords. The 'owner' password does not stop users from reading the document, but it does restrict the actions that users can perform on that document - printing, copying, decrypting etc. Specifying a 'user' password will stop anyone without either 'user' or 'owner' passwords from opening and reading the document.

PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format

PDFTK Builder Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. Congrats Simeon on your first app. And thanks for your work on this. Smile

nice functions..man this is useful when i print out pages..now i can separate them..wicked...

boo ? boo hoo...boo hoo i killed your parents and tortured you lol.. Kim Jong Il from Mad Tv ..

It has some typos - but nothing serious enough to justify a new revision. Who finds them first gets a piece of my π Pie! Wink

I would think you'd either put them all pdf or PDF, although I don't know which is correct.

eg should be e.g. - that's the only other thing I found.

Do I get the n Pie?!

EDIT:: I just realized you might mean typos in the actual coding/launcher. Is that what you meant?

the Readme has parts where it says Vlc...

And yes take the pie Smile

The readme has references to VLC!

Do I get some pi(e) now? Blum

But leave something for other happy finders.

Nice work Simeon.

I got bored this afternoon, and on a suggestion by Patrick, tried to make a new logo for PDFTK. I used 2 icons from Everaldo's Crystal set (GPL) and put them together to come up with this result.

Let me know what you think.

The developer formerly known as ZGitRDun8705

but I don't know if we can replace it...but it would be definitively good as the size is probably bigger. I´d like Johns opinion on that. Personally I would be using it.

And thanks for giving it a try Smile

We can replace it, but we won't have a reason to update this package for a while. The app isn't being maintained, so no updates due to an update of the base app. And the installer will be changing in the future, but probably not enough to require an app like this to be updated (unlike when we switched from the self-extractors and added in the menu refresh ability for the next platform release).

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

I added it into the site for 128/75/16px sizes. And I have the .ico ready to go for when we do an update. Maybe we'll drop a rev 2 when we do some major installer work in a month or two.

Yes, it is a definite improvement.
The icon would still look plain compared with the other apps, wouldn't it?

Hello,

I have a problem. I use two monitors in dual mode. When I run PdftkBuilder, its window is "half-placed" out of the screen. And, when I exit program and launch it again, the window doesn't remember its last position.

Would it be able to repair both features?

Thank you.
