PortableApps.com at CES 2010 in Las Vegas, NV

CESPortableApps.com will be at the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'll be on the show floor, attending meetings with partners, and giving away flash drives loaded with portable apps. (For those who don't know me, I'm John T. Haller, the founder and lead developer of PortableApps.com. Hi.) If you're attending, you can connect with me by dropping an email to the business development email address on our contact page and including CES as part of the subject.

I'll be meeting with hardware companies interested in bundling the PortableApps.com Platform and our apps, software companies looking to make their apps portable and lots of other folks while I'm there. So, feel free to drop an email if you'd like to connect.

John, the link to this announcement in the "News" section contains an extra "h" (hhttp), making it unrecognizable to (at least) Firefox. To be absolutely perfect, "Jan 03" isn't correct either.

(John: all the links are absolute, do you not do them relative because it's easier or to try to return those evil mirroring sites here? I always do my links relative because it's "purer" and more "technically correct" :P)

Damn, I wish I could go, and get one of those flash drives, re-gift it (you're not using Corsair, OCZ, or anything particularly fast, are you?). You should post pictures of them. Are they branded or just regular black flash drives or whatever?

So, Leo Laporte and his gang will be in S1, broadcast platform 1 for the duration of CES. Maybe you could drop by and volunteer to be on FLOSS? I think the PortableApps story would be a great episode.

PortableApps has come a long way... Now it's time to seek the possibilities of just how far they can go, and just how many folks are interested (those with the funding to make the big things happen)
