Why this PChat thing? What's wrong with XChat-2?
Multiple Issues
XChat for Windows is not open source. It contains shareware registration code merged in with the GPL (without permission of all code copyright-holders, in violation of the GPL). So, XChat is neither Free (as in Free Open Source Software) nor free. PChat, on the other hand, is both Free and free.
