BleachBit Portable 0.9.2 has been released. BleachBit quickly frees disk space, removes hidden junk, and easily guards your privacy. Erase cache, delete cookies, clear Internet history, remove unused localizations, shred logs, and delete temporary files. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.
Update automatically or install from the portable app store in the PortableApps.com Platform.
Features
BleachBit wipes clean 90 applications including Firefox, Internet Explorer, Adobe Flash, Google Chrome, Opera, Safari, and more. Beyond simply deleting files, BleachBit includes advanced features such as shredding files to prevent recovery, wiping free disk space to hide traces of files deleted by other applications, and vacuuming Firefox to make it faster. Better than free, BleachBit is open source.
PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format
BleachBit Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Suite including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Doesn't work
I cannot get this portable version to work on my Windows 7 Ultimate box.
Slow Start
Check task manager and see if it is running. It starts *very* slowly on Win7 with a lot of the apps it supports installed. I'm talking about 1 minute or more slowly at times.
Python errors
I run it with Admin. privileges and get a host of Python errors in the log file:

Forums
Please post complete details (OS, full install path, upgrade or new install, etc) in the Other Apps support forum so someone can assist you. It's not an overall error as it works just fine for me on Win7.
Settings broken
This suggests that a settings file may have been corrupted or broken (probably a bug in BleachBit, it may not be coping with an upgrade in itself, perhaps this first_start is a new settings value being used which wasn't set formerly and it's depending on its existence). Try deleting Data\BleachBit.ini.
That's it
Your solution worked, Chris.
Thank you.
