As with a previous app, getting d/l error. not sure if you know about these but I've been getting a few of these lately. As they've been fixed I ignored them, but jPortable 64 was one.

I just checked and the english download is working fine. Is there a specific version you're having issues with?

jP64 had an issue when it was released but someone reported it and I resolved it.

I'm in Australia and in the last couple of weeks about 3-4 times or so, I have had error/could not download a 'just released' PortableApp from Sourceforge - I'm guessing the 'local' Sourceforge mirror (for me) wasn't ready for downloads Blum

my fix: I just changed the mirror to the Japan one to download the files.

I was not using the PortableApps auto-updater, I download the files and install/update Smile

If you select a manual mirror, that can happen. If you set it to automatic, it will switch to another if it notices your default mirror doesn't have it.

Six failures. English, auto mirror selection. 5 times d/l normal at 300kB/sec to 400 kB/sec until last 400K, where it hung until the loader timed out and restarted. Second time this happens, the loader gives up. Final attempt the d/l was very slow, 70kB/sec-90kB/sec. I waited it out until it hung again, no more data for over a minute, then canceled manually.

Update 1/21 19:30
Tried again, one more hang at 1MB short, but the retry completed OK. Feels like a server-side timeout.

I guess the moral is - keep trying!

Since some folks were having download issues, I re-uploaded the full batch of files for this release which should reset all the download mirrors.
