logoDebugView Portable 4.81 Rev 5 has been released. DebugView lets you monitor debug output on your local system or any computer on the network you can reach via TCP/IP. This release updates to the app's new download location. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. DebugView is freeware for business and personal use.

Update automatically or install from the portable app store in the PortableApps.com Platform.

Features

Screenshot DebugView is an application that lets you monitor debug output on your local system, or any computer on the network that you can reach via TCP/IP. It is capable of displaying both kernel-mode and Win32 debug output, so you don't need a debugger to catch the debug output your applications or device drivers generate, nor do you need to modify your applications or drivers to use non-standard debug output APIs.

PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format

DebugView Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Platform including the Menu and Backup Utility.

(5/2/2016) It is not currently possible to install because DebugView cannot be downloaded.
I have let Sysinternals know. Just hope the contact address is OK

Downloads are working fine with the installer and platform. If you can't download, please post a note with complete details in the Other Apps forum including the error you see, your OS version, whether your OS is 32/64 bit, the full install path, etc.

I'm having the same problem - I get a 404 from the updater, as well as directly from Sysinternals' site, the debugview download link is giving a 404. I've submitted a bug through Technet.

Related: I'm debating dropping the SysInternals apps. Their license prohibits redistribution but they randomly rebuild them (changing the MD5) or change the download URL (switching debugview.zip to DebugView.zip) at regular intervals which breaks the online installers... and is incredibly sketchy.

Yep, I get a broken XML error on both Firefox and Chrome, shown below. As a result, the updater gives me a 404 error.

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

I got a reply back from Technet support, and they can't reproduce my error, and I can now download the file directly from them. It looks like the file's been renamed again in camelcase - DebugView.zip, vs debugview.zip. As a result, the updater is still 404'ing on me.

Amazingly, Microsoft changed the download again for the 2nd time in 12 hours. I've sent in a support request as something seems seriously wrong on their servers.
