Opera, Portable Edition 39.0.2256.48 has been released. Opera, Portable Edition is a lightweight, customizable browser designed for speed. It's the popular Opera™ web browser packaged as a portable app, so you can take your browser with you and it's in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. It's freeware for personal and business use.

Opera, Portable Edition is packaged with permission from Opera Software. Opera™ is a trademark of Opera Software.

Update automatically or install from the portable app store in the PortableApps.com Platform.

Note that Opera's stable channel no longer supports Windows XP and Vista. All Chrome/Blink-based browsers (Chrome, Opera, Iron, Chromium, etc) have done so or will be doing so shortly. A legacy version of Opera Portable 36.x still supports Windows XP and Vista.

Note that you must log in to Opera and sync your details to maintain your passwords and certain other data as you move PCs. This is by design of the publisher utilizing the Blink web engine, same as it is with Google Chrome.
